I've just received these lights, and they are very pretty. The instructions state "To maximise the battery capacity, the lights should be charged in direct sunlight for at least 12-24 hours before being used for the first time" but also "Please note for the solar panel to charge, the lights must be kept in the ON position." I'm not sure how to charge them for 12-24 hours before use if they need to be switched on in order to charge. Do I need to let them charge while it's daylight and switch them off when it gets dark, for the first few days/nights? Thanks
Hello Alsion, Thank you for your feedback, you can keep the light in the sunny position and in the switched OFF position for 3 to 5 days to get the best charge the panel will still gather a charge into the battery in the switched off position, this way the lights will gather a booster charge. and aftewr the 5days switch them on in the evening and they will work perfectly

I would need to put the solar panel up high to catch the light , is there a longer cable from the panel to the first mushroom as 42cm is way too short ?
