Frequently asked questions
I see from your reply to another question that this light does allow the battery to be replaced. So, how long would you expect the rechargeable battery to last?
the battery lasts up to 2-3 years

Hi. Same as Roger Lyne, my Guide also has a small button to the left of the PIR sensor, although it's not mentioned in the User Guide. It seems to activate/deactivate the light, but does it do anything else (such as set the light to be permenatly illuminated during dark conditions)?
This light will only come on automatically when is dark and when motion has been detected. There is a sensor on the panel. It does not come with a switch button.

Purchased and fitted light however, mine seems to have on the front a small switch which is not shown or mentioned in the leaflet. Can you tell me what it's for is it just on off or does it switch the light away from the motion application to permanently on in the dark.
This unit won't have a switch button. It must be the PIR sensor that you are talking about. Once the unit detects motion and it is dark it will illuminate you do not have to press on a button.
