Will the lights charge if not in direct sunlight or a dull few weeks of UK winter
As this is a security light which comes with a feature 'Mode C made for Winter': It automatically turns on to full brightness when motion is detected in the range ≤6 metres and then turns off in 30 seconds of no motion' This means if you use this mode in the Winter it will continue to run and work well for you.

how long should you charge light for before first use?
We advise charging the lights for 3-5 days before use.
