It would be quite difficult to get it to stay secure due to the back part of the light, I would suggest a flat surface.

So pleased with this Comet Solar Motion Detector Light and glad we got two.. We've bought a number of solar lights over the years, and they just keep improving. This generation is the best yet. Even though this is the dullest part of the year (Nov/Dec) the light is working very well, and going down the path in the dark has become very easy. And it is very positive on coming on, and then going out after the movement. Perfect as we don't want unnecessary light in the garden..

Bought one of these last year to replace an old battery powered access lamp and found it to be so good that I have bought two more and a set of four London post lamps.

Excellent product, lights up the area of coverage well, and charged fairly quickly, though have to see how it does in Winter with low sunlight levels. The holding bracket is good as well.

Really pleased with this light. I was a little skeptical on how bright it would be but it gives off a lot of light for such a small product. I would highly recommend the excellent customer service too.
