Is the cable hardwired into the solar power box, or is there a connector which you can disconnect?

Hello, The string is hardwired into the panel.

Hi Both sets of my fairy lights hve stopped working. I am assuming this is because the back up batteries have run out?? Can I just change the existing AA battery with a new one to get them working again?

Please replace the batteries with AA rechargeable ones and that should work.

Are they waterproof?

Yes, there are waterproof.

I purchased these in October......they are fantastic. Even on dull days they hold enough power to still be on until the early hours of the morning. However, a couple of days ago half the set stopped working. With the 12 month warranty they were replaced by Nicole in customer service and we had a new set within 24 hours....excellent service! After trying B&M and Home Bargain lights, which were rubbish I decided to pay for quality, and I got it. The lights are bright and came on the first night I put them up. The wires are sturdy and fit perfectly into cable clips on my fence. Will be buying more.
