Hello, this product is toughened plastic.
Hello, The stake is not already attached so you do not ahve to use the stake.
If you wanted to place this in a tree I would be careful on which branches you hang them from as it might bend and break them, as any breakages due to this will not be covered under warranty. As you are able to USB charge them if needed and put them in powersaving mode, it wouldn't matter too much about the amount of sun as you can top up with USB, however if you were puirely relying on the sun then I would not place it somewhere heavily shaded.

Even with a discount this is quite expensive BUT I' have to say they are really lovely. It isnt exactly like a candle but pretty close and very engaging. They go on for many hours. Also sends out quite a lot of light

We bought some of these last year and they worked well all through the winter. They're high-quality and, importantly, heavy enough so the wind doesn't blow them around the garden. We love them so much recently bought some more which Parcelforce managed to deliver to the wrong address but the Solar Centre customer service team sent out replacements without quibble.

Fabulous. They look good and give off a lovely level of light. Bonus too that they can be charged by USB. I might buy more.
