Excellent greenhouse task light

Bought to light tasks in the greenhouse in the winter months. The light, hung over the potting bench, is perfect for finishing jobs when the daylight has faded. The remote control works from inside the house so lighting the walk to and from the greenhouse.

Good light controls could be better

The lights are good and we are using them for a remotely located lambing shed that is off grid. My only gripe is that each spot has its own remote. I would much prefer all 3 lights to be operated by one remote. (then we could also hold spares in the event of loss or damage) Hard wired switches would be even better from our point of view. We have the remotes zip tied to columns nearby but I wonder how water resistant they are.

I am impressed with SolarCentre's customer service. I bought an EVO SMD light for a horse field shelter: the first one did work sometimes but usually not, and SolarCentre were prompt in replacing it. I still have the old one and it clearly has a loose connection somewhere. The quality of the light and solar panel is very good, but you must be aware that the light will only work when the input to the panel stops, so in the twilight it will not work.

We're using this to light a sculpture in memory of my husband. After discussion with the family on whether to downlight or uplight we decided upon the latter and it's great. My only criticism would be that the solar panel is bright white so is not very discrete as it's attached to our fence, black would blend better but I can't fault the lighting effect. Very pleased!

I fitted this light a week ago to light a patio, and have been pleasantly surprised at its power. It was easy to fit and seems to work exactly as described. Admittedly it is midsummer so the limits of the solar panel haven't been really tested, but I am optimistic that it will work far better than our previous solar light.

Great little floodlight

Floodlight with solar panel was pretty easy to install, placed it back of house, two thirds up the wall. The wire from the panel and light is extremely long. I cable tied the excess to the back of the tilted solar panel. The light is smaller than I thought. But that's fine as it is powerful and illuminates the back garden well. The light is bright white. Maybe a softer filter included would have been a good idea. I would have preferred a softer colour. But for the price it is very good. Plus it doesn't run of the mains! Haven't had it long so haven't timed how long it lasts fully charged. Should last 10 hours. 7 and a half out of 10.
