Ordered these a while back and only just got round to setting them up. Great product, the USB rechargeable battery is a stroke of genius. Lights look great at night. Packaged and delivered super fast, very impressed with service. Definitely going to order from Solar Centre again in future.

I run a Glamping site and have brought a new set of these lights each year for our tents (probably in excess of 25 sets in total). Unfortunately I found the older version of these lights to be better for us. The charge lasted an awful lot longer, the controller could be placed inside the tent rather than have to go outside to the solar panel to switch off at night, and there was much less chance of rain reaching the battery. These are still the best that I can find in terms of brightness and durability, but it's disappointing that they are not quite as good as before. The first set of these that I brought were still twinkling away most of the night in the deepest winter, these sadly will only manage a couple of hours, and that's if the batteries haven't got wet first and given up. I find the USB charging facility a bit of a gimmick, I wonder how many people actually use it? Surely if they held their charge better, you wouldn't need to charge from mains? Isn't that the point of solar power after all? I still given these a 4 star rating because they are the best I can find.

Easy to charge up straight from box via USB - not that they needed long. Easy to install. Even in February daylight they charge enough to last from around 6pm to past midnight. So far so good, looking forward to summer evenings with these.

These solar lights seem to be so much better than the ones you can buy at DIY stores, they really do charge when it cloudy, but with a bit of sunshine they last amazingly well.. Had a set for 3 years and still going strong

The product is advertised as "works in winter", but on receiving the product I read that it needs sunlight. And indeed, after two bright days but without direct sunshine the lights are not coming on in the evening. I am sure customers would appreciate more detailed information on this product. Also, I was expecting something a lot 'warmer' with the "warm white" but the light from the chain is quite cold.
