I was so pleased with these lights that we bought another set as a birthday present for our daughter. After a few months one of the lights stopped working on the bright white mode. I received a fast no hassle replacement and have since ordered quite a few more sets of lights, mainly usb Christmas ones which are great. I don't get the sun in my front garden in the Winter so it's lovely being about to recharge them.

The light was not working ( stainless steel) and I was immediately sent another, albeit the wrong light (anthracite ) they spotted their mistake and I was immediately sent the correct light. Very pleased with the service.

I ordered a set of two large lights and a set of four mini ones. No problem with the two and with three out of the other four. One of them either wasn't charging properly because the red light turned to green too quickly on charging and the light only came on for about ten minutes or it suddenly flashed red and green while charging. I emailed Solar Centre and got a quick reply. However I was asked 'Please can you send over a photo of the solar panel covered with a tea towel or similar and switch the lights on. This is so we can log the photo on our system, which will then allow us to look into sending you a replacement..' As they knew precisely what part of the lamp I was referring to I couldn't see the point unless there was any doubt about what I was saying so I replied saying I couldn't see what the photo would prove as if the light was on at the time it still didn't indicate it hardly lit before going out and if it wasn't lit how did they know I hadn't just not switched it on? I said that if they thought I wasn't telling the truth then just forget it and I'd put it down to experience. I got an apologetic email saying that wasn't the case, it was what their system required in place of asking for its return but in the circumstances a replacement top would be sent and credit due, it arrived the next day. I now accept the request was made instead of asking for the part back but that really should have been made clear from the start. All that said, there was no delay in getting a reply and the lights work very well but I can't in all honesty give a 5* because of the communication issue.
