Got a unit for the front of the house which is south facing. Replaced items purchased on Amazon. This unit is far superior, the battery is charged by the solar panel with a good sunny winter day and is working all night long. The pool of light released by the main LED lights is really good to light up dark patches. Going to get a further unit to add some more light to the front of the house. Units have two modes, dim LED on the wall or dim LED on the wall and dim LED downlight. The sensor detects movement, will light the down beam to high brightness
