Please can I ask whether you have tried leaving the lights switched off for 3-5 days? I would recommend 5 if the weather is particularly overcast. Our lights can come partially charged and might work straight away, whereas others need a boost. If after this time the light still has not come on I would recommend you check where the light is placed and to make sure that there is no heavy shading on the panel or anything obstructing the panel from receiving a full charge. Please also check that there is no outside light (from a neighbours house/your own property) that is getting onto the light in the evening and causing it to believe it is daytime. To test this please do cover the panel with something dark, if the light does come on please test the light elsewhere away from the light source.

Hi Paul, The panel is based on the top of the ligh head it is all built in and there are no leads
