The Advance solar panel can be disconnected from the light string and taken inside to charge via USB quickly and easily.

Hello, each set of deck lights must be run of their own individual panel, they will not work correctly if all connected to one solar panel.
Hello. We would only usually recomend decking for these lights.

Like a few others have said in their reviews, I bought a set of these to replace simialr ones which had failed due to water getting into the solar panel mini usb port which was exposed. These are a significant upgrade. Slightly bigger than others so i had to re drill the sleepers they were placed in but took it slow and it wasn't a problem. These ones have all the electric bits sealed inside the back of the solar panel with a rubber seal keeping out water. You just unscrew this panel to get access to the mini usb which you use to charge the lights in winter (or to get started). You can also add additional batteries to store power. I bought a couple of extra batteries on Amazon. Lights can be adjusted for brightness and also for colour of light from a warm white to a cooler blue white. This is a real nice feature if you have other garden lights as I do so you can match the whiteness. I actually bought another set to replace lights in another part of the garden. Really good build quality and very very easy to install and hook up. Highly recommend.

I bought 1 set of these and immediately bought another because they are that good, to replace very similar lights that had failed. Only a little bigger so it wasn't a hassle in installing. I'm very happy with the solar panel which is definitely an upgrade over the previous one. I love that the battery is replaceable or indeed able to add more batteries if you feel required. I have one set in a raised bed and the other around an outdoor bar/kitchen area.

I recently bought 2 sets to replace old Edinburgh sets that had failed. Previous lights were 25mm and this set was 30mm , so drilling new holes not an issue. As delighted as I was initially with previously set this new set definitely so much better in particular the solar panel itself with the ability to change the battery or add more which I don't feel necessary more than bright enough. 1 set in a raised bed and another around my outdoor bar/kitchen area.
