These come with an adhesive sticker so you have the choice to secure them down if you wish, however you can just place them on your patio and you can change the look of your garden when needed!
These lights are made without an on/off switch to help with the waterproofing, so these will just need to be in as much direct sunlight as possible during the day to help them charge. Please make sure these are in the most optimal place for charging and not in the shade or shaded areas.
As long as the grass is not so long as to obstruct charging, and the lights are collected in the evening so that the wind does not remove them, it would be fine to just lay them down. They do not come with stakes which means they cannot be permanently installed into soft ground.

Recently installed and tested. Purchased because of the IP rating. Older IP65 lights from another supplier failed every winter to spring. Hopefully these units will survive for many years to come. As the photo shows these units have been placed inside wooden stepping stones and not on top of decking so the 3M tape hasn't been used or tested.

Large , bright light ; I don't use on a deck, but embed slightly into gravel ; work well even without a full day of sun

Really bright light, needs to be placed where the sun is constantly shining to charge. But other than that easy to use, simply put in place and leave it

Really easy to use, well designed, bright lights. Water-tight, sturdy. Simple switch on and place where you want them. Easy to re-locate too. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately I have had four of my original six lights replaced as they went off completely. However, I love the lights they are very bright and light up for hours. The replacements were made immediately, great service.
