They're on a single string so don't hang down like icicles.
This sounds like the panel location problem and the solar cells aren’t getting enough sun light. If you can try changing the angle and the location of the panel. At this time of year (mid summer) in the UK the solar panel should be almost horizontal, I’d also suggest allowing the batteries to charge for 2-3days without switching the lights on. If you continue to have problems please contact us.

Bought several sets of these after admiring a friend's garden. They were easy to set up and came on after one sunny day. The only thing I'm not keen on is that they're all far closer to blue than white - cool white rather than warm white. I didn't see anything about that on the box so thought white was white. Not so! I will probably end up buying more for the colour I want eventually which is a great shame but might be able to sell these I suppose.

My friend noticed these lights in my garden and admired them so much that I have bought her these for Christmas. They are without a doubt the best, most reliable and effective brand of solar lights I have purchased. You will not be disappointed if you buy these.

Although they are not lasting too long lately I put this down to dark weather. When they are charged they are brilliant! And I didn't even realise they flashed on and off too. Excellent lights on tree in back garden by hot tub!

I put them around a weeping fir tree in the garden. The solar panel is not in an ideal position but the lights are on for at least 6 hours every night even when the weather has been really dull. A very good buy.

Bought a set of these to light up outside for Christmas. Having been dissapointed with other solar lights from other companies we just bought the one set. These lights were so good and such a success that we bought a second set and these may not be the last set that we buy for future use
