The panel is somewhat adjustable, but it depends on how you wish to angle it.
Yes, you are correct, this will not work if any light gets onto the panel, this will only work in the evening. If you want to have something you can change the lux sensor on we have our EVO SMD range.

Second outside light we have purchased from the solar centre. (The first having an integral Solar panel). Good quality product and works very well - the 5 metre lead allowing me to fix the panel on a South facing wall. Thoroughly recommended.
