Hi Colin, we dont have anyother tube light but we do have strip lights. the edge light come in 5 10 or 20 meter long

Purchased these lights again as they have been excellent in lighting up every night regardless of the weather. Excellent large solar panel too. The reason I had to purchase them again was because an animal had decided to munch their way through the tube holding the lights. We could see their little teeth marks! One thing to make them even better would be to make the tubing taste awful to animals :-)

I have had solar rope lights before, but they were cheaper ones (DIY store/supermarket level) I use them to line the garden path to the bottom of the garden, where the BBQ is. They worked ok in summer but as the sun gets lower here in Scotland the illumination time would drop off very quickly. The cable of one of the ropes got broken, so I decided to upgrade the quality. The two new ropes are longer, the solar panel is more than twice the size of the cheaper ones and I was pleased to see 3 intensity settings. I set them on the lowest/winter setting, so that the light lasts longer. Yesterday was a Very dull day, intermittent drizzle, but the lights came on brightly at dusk. I went to the bathroom at 6am and could see through the window that the lights were still on! I don't think I will bother using the highest light setting, as the lowest one is plenty bright. I don't need them to be as bright as day!.

Great selection on the site but decided to try the Tube Lights on this occasion. They were easy to install, came partly charged and are dimmable. They're probably a bit 'white' (despite being on the lowest setting) compared to my other tree lights so I may move them to an area of the garden that doesn't currently have any tree lights. They do remind me of holidays abroad where often the palm trees have something similar.wound around them. They have a really large solar panel (compared to some cheaper lights) that also has a long lead wire from the lights so makes it easy to place in the ground, in the tree or anywhere else that can catch the sun. I may try the non-tube variety next :-)

Great set of lights that last for hours even on the brightest setting. Our solar panel is in full sunlight but the lights were still on when I walked the dogs at 6am in the morning.
