New for 2024, Leaf is a revolutionary solar panel for solar lights that is truly powered by nature. With its unique leaf-shaped design, this solar panel is not only stylish but highly functional too.
This powerful 3W solar panel offers USB charging, two reserve battery bays, Powersaving mode, 5 charge indicator lights, a quick release bracket and stake/wall mount options.
Our innovative screw cap allows you to access the Leafs batteries, switches and USB-C port quickly and easily while guaranteeing bottle-tight waterproofing.
The Leaf system has been designed to work year-round in the UK using solar power alone, but it can also be charged via USB in just a few hours.
Leaf's quick-release system allows you to disconnect it from its wall bracket/stake mount and the light string in seconds.
Leaf comes with one 18650 battery supplied and installed which is more than sufficient for the vast majority of applications. Space is provided for two additional 18650 batteries for commercial applications.
Leaf's batteries, power switch, mode button, charge indicator lights and USB-C port are all housed under an o-ring sealed screw cap which offers quick and easy access with bottle-tight IP67 rated waterproofing.
Powersaving mode reduces the power output to the lights by half which doubles the amount of time the lights can stay lit for. Although the output is halved, the reduction in perceptible brightness is closer to 20%.
Powersaving is perfect if you prefer a softer lighting effect or if you require longer runtimes.
The Leafs clever charge detection system uses 5 indicator lights to let you know if your battery is flat, 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% charged.
Charge indicator lights are a great way to work out how much charge your Leaf is getting outside and they will also let you know when USB charging is complete.
Leafs innovative quick-release ball socket bracket detaches in seconds enabling you to take your Leaf inside for USB charging without touching your lights or the Leafs mounting stake/wall bracket.
Leafs innovative quick-release ball socket bracket comes with a stake and wall mount option giving you the choice to stake your Leaf into lawns, planters and flower beds - or a wall bracket for mounting your Leaf solar panel onto walls or decking.
Leaf is fully automatic so once you have set your Millfield lights up and turned them on, they will light up automatically at dusk and turn off automatically after 7 hours. There is an on/off switch so you can turn your lights off at any point.
You can also use the on/off switch to reset the 7 hour timer - simply turn your lights off and back on at any point in the evening and the 7 hour timer will be reset. Leaf will continue to charge even if the lights have been turned off.

Very impressed with these lights - so well made and having the option to charge via usbc cable is very handy for when light levels might not be sufficient - there's also the option to add more Lithium ion batteries to the Leaf solar panel if necessary. Easy to set up, the fittings are well engineered with screw up connectors to ensure the internal connections are watertight - I chose these as much for their IP rating as their aesthetic. The light cast is very subtle but bright enough and effective for a pathway.
