Hello, It is weather proof and it is IP65.

Can I put this light in a North facing driveway.? Will it get enough sun to power it?

Hello, Our lights need to be installed in a south facing location.

How is the light switched on and off? Is it by movement sensor or other?

The light switches on and off automatically using a dusk til dawn sensor. There is also a manual switch within the top of the unit, which allows you to switch the light on and off.

I have had these lights for a while and they give a great light to my deck. I asked for a replacement part as one of my dogs i think bent the base and was really surprised that the Solar Centre were able to assist. Fantastic service.
