Not even in a south facing position and still lights up sufficiently on the lower setting. If I put it to the off position at night after the cars have all parked up for the night, will it still charge the battery in the off position?

Bought to mark the driveway corner when reversing my car in at night / in poor weather, and so far it has lit the area brilliantly, just on eco setting! Could do with the light lasting longer, but it is winter and we're just not getting enough sunshine to charge it up for several hours illumination. Fortunately the post is still quite visible even unlit, so it certainly serves its purpose.

My Shard solar light arrived this afternoon and I set it up outside about 5pm in really wet, miserable weather and did not expect it to light up tonight however it certainly did light up and looks amazing.

Really pleased with our new light. Hoping it still provides some benefit in the winter months. The only problem was getting it vertical as a slight misalignment of the ground stake is magnified by the height of the lamp.

Super nice lights and so easy to set up. I use them in my back yard where there's no ambient lighting and two of them light it perfectly, together with four of the Gemini wall lights and a few strings of bulbs. I find it just the right amount of light - not too overpowering/bright but light enough to see
