My mother loves it. The only downside is the remote control which is a little flimsy and the key overlay falls off a bit easily.

This was a present for my sister, so I got an honest opinion from her. It's very white and you couldn't help but notice it during the day, also the owl features don't really stand out. I must agree with her. It looks a bit different in other colours.

i keep getting asked to review this product but it is not being published so the mark is now even lower than before. the product appears to be cheaply made, the remote is flimsy and the white face is pealing off the remote. only a matter of time before it breaks - also the remote appears to be on the same wavelength as my tv which means whenever we change tv channels the owl functions are also changed and as for the length of time the owl is lit after charging all day, well at the moment it is just 2-3 hours. the longer i have had this product the more disappointing i find it. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL [lets see if my honest opinion gets published this time!!]

At the moment the jury is out on a final decision but my findings/issues so far with this product:- I think he looks great but it remains too early to tell if the unit charges efficiently and lasts for as long as I expect in these dark nights and will be forming part of the organised Christmas display in our cul de sac for 25 days of Christmas - we drew 22nd for our switch on night. However I find the remote control is very flimsy and the white inlay is curled and pealing away, it looks and feels cheap and nasty and I doubt it will last for too long without something to address the problem/stick it down in the very near future [at the very least]. Then and perhaps the biggest issue, it appears to be on the same frequency as my TV remote control which means every time we use the tv remote the OWL is turned on, and each press of the TV remote changes the colour or the setting of the light - BUT none of the TV Remote buttons turns it off again. The fact that there also appears to be no on/off switch on the owl itself is also a little frustrating - the push button underneath appears only to change the colours or effects at each push. If it can switch the owl off, I haven't yet worked out how it does so, and it does not advise how in the instructions, I think the remote control really lets this down, and if I could include a picture I would do so. As a Purchasing Manager by profession, the build quality around the remote is a little disappointing for my liking, but it does do the job for now. Shame it is on the same frequency as my TV remote too.
