What is the total wire length, and what is the space between the bulbs?

Hello, The length of the string is 5.2m long, the distance from the solar panel to the first bulb is around 2.5m, for a total of approximately 7.7m. Distance between the bulbs is 19cm

Can you control each bulb independently, for example to create coloured pictures?

No, the Sophia lights do not have this feature. You can however, set them into different working patterns that will make them multicoloured.

Is it possible to turn the lights on even if there is sunlight or do they turn off automatically while subjected to sunlight.

No, the panel sense when there is light and they cannot be overidden in direct sunlight. You could try covering the panel, but do remeber to remove it again when they need charging.

Good lights that seem well made, look good and work great. Top tip is to think about orientation of the sensor for the remote control but other than that went up easily and look great. All round recommended!

Bought two sets as they were on offer, just before winter. I just hung the bundles of lights in a small tree by the kitchen door and wedged the panels in the bare branches, because I hadn't decided where exactly I wanted them. The garden is quite shady once winter begins & daylight is short. They charged a little and if, I was home early enough, I could see them colour changing for an hour. Now it is the start of March, if the morning is bright they can shine from 6-9pm. I actually like them in clusters, so I might find a permanent place to hang them like thst.

Very nice and funky set of lights - they work well and look great. Downside is the app is not very intuitive and works erratically , I haven't worked out all the functions yet. The first set I bought had a defective bulb but Solar Centre was quick to replace with no hassle. First class customer service. One improvement for consideration . Put the join between solar panel and light string closer to the solar panel to enable easier disconnection for USB towers up. A the moment it is too far away and too close to the first bulb , which is up high . All in all though I like them and would recommend them
