Is the solar panel detachable (so I can string the lights inside a tent, but put the panel out in a good location to charge during the day)?

unfortunately the solar panel cannot be detached

What are the globe's made out of. What is the cable length in total .

The globe is made out of thin copper

I've installed them and the lights came on but not for very long. It was a sunny day but it is still only March. Can I get them to last longer by turning them off and letting the battery get a good charge before using them?

The units won't come fully charged. Prior to start using the lights you should always leave the lights switched off for 3-5 days and allow the batteries to built up charge. The run time would be extended.

Lovely copper colour small but very pretty they give a warm glow. As with other products I have bought from the solar centre they are good quality and work well for a good duration each night.
