The best solution for securing the panel would be to screw it in place and then add a silicone sealant on top of the screws. Alternatively, you can use No More Nails or Gorilla Glue.

This is the second 700 lumens solar I have bought, this time for a neighbour. The first I have had for over a year and have had no problems to date. I chose this one because it has a separate motion detector with horizontal and vertical mechanical adjustment as well as the usual 'time on', 'sensitivity', and 'lux' (operation according to ambient light) adjustments. You do need the ability to mechanically adjust the operating position of the detector if you have a specific area from where you want to trigger the light to come on. The light output is also sufficient to illuminate a reasonable distance. Easy to install and set up. Four self-tapping screws are used to attach the two angled metal brackets to the solar panel and ensure that you use a correct, snugly fitting screwdriver to screw these in as you do need to use a certain amount of force for the screws to bite into the metal.

Brought two ,Only had them a few days ,they seem Very good at the moment, easy to install and set up, time will tell but happy so far with them

The Evo SMD security light is excellent as it provides a large solar panel that can be mounted in a sunny area with plenty of cable to connect the panel and the lioght unit so that thye light can be sighted in the area reuiored whilst giving maximum charging. Once again, very easy to fix and the sensor can be set to exactly as you need along with the multiple settings on the length of time that you need the light to be on, finally, and possibly most important, the light is very bright and illuminates the side passage where it is used to "daylight quality"

This is the fifth of these solar lights that I have purchased in the past ten years. They are easy to install and are efficient, at least initially. They have all become unreliable within 2-3 years due to faults in the sensor. Condensation in the sensor has been an issue, although the SMD Pro Solar is an improvement. Customer Service has been excellent, and have replaced two of the lights under guarantee.
